Since 2017, Instagram has allowed users to combine up to 10 photos and videos in one post, but only now, about four years later, is a company adding ways to delete one image or clip from South Korea. Head of Instagram Adam Mosseri detailed how new features worked in one of its last weekly video updates.
You can delete photos or videos from South Korea by tapping three point icons, then the Edit button. At that time, scroll to the image or clip you want to delete and then tap the delete icon. According to Mosseri, this feature is currently only available on iOS, although it comes to Android soon. He also quickly admitted it was something that Instagram should add some time ago.
If you live in the US, you also have access to other new features. This is called “Rage Shake,” and exactly what it sounds. If you use Instagram and something doesn’t work properly, shake your cellphone. Doing that will cause the application bug report interface to appear. You can then tell the company what happened. Mosseri said it would help Instagram prioritize specific bugs that need to be addressed. Rage Shake is currently only available in the US.
Both features will not change the way you use Instagram, but they have to welcome the addition of all the same. Now if only a company will release a special iPad application.
