Pixel 6 charging speed is apparently a bit confusing and disappointing

Pixel 6 series has so far produced awards and positive reviews for the combination of hardware, software, and prices. This is absolutely not perfect, of course, and some warts began to appear recently. Most complaints seem to revolve around the implementation of fingerprint scanners on Google’s first screen, but there are also some confusion about the speed of telephone charging. Google now comes clean on how fast the cellphone really charges and, unfortunately, it’s just as bad as some people who are afraid.

To be fair, Google never really states the speed of charging pixel 6 or Pixel 6 Pro, even on the cellphone specification sheet. What he did was talking about how long the battery would last and how fast the cellphone would charge when using the first USB-C USB-C charger. Google. Naturally, people suspect it will cost 30W, but it doesn’t seem to happen.

Maybe responding to a number of lower charging speed reports, Google now gives short bed-scenes to see how it applies a pixel charging system 6. In short, it does close charging rates to 21W and 23W for Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, but even then, that Maybe really charge more slowly. That’s because, according to Google, it designs a cellphone battery to “achieve a balance between battery life, long life and fast charging.”

When the battery is very low, pixels 6 will charge max or 23W max to reach 50% in 30 minutes. Then the throttle is a little speed so the battery gets 80% charge after 30 minutes and finally dripping the power draw until the battery is completely full. These staggering filling techniques are often used to extend battery life from time to time, and 6 pixels may even pause containing charging under certain conditions.

Strangely, the maximum rate of 21W and 23W this is the same number given by Google for wireless charging, at least with the second pixel holder. Wireless chargers that are in accordance with other QIs will be slower, especially because the rates are often limited to 12W with third party chargers. Google also recommends only using the official charger because it supports USB 3.0 PPS standards, although other USB chargers and BC1.2 chargers are also compatible.

This is not a shameful revelation, but still disappoints by considering how Google advertises a USB-C 30W charger for pixels 6. It puts Google Flagships today at a slower and lower charging level compared to Fast-25W Samsung which is almost ancient charging technology, Although Google will argue that it is all to keep the battery with a longer shape.
